Role
Reporting to the Associate Director, your key accountabilities include:
- Preparing, organizing and monitoring clinical studies in accordance to the highest global standards.
- Performing site selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits in accordance with contracted scope of work and good clinical practice.
- Administering protocol and related study training to assigned sites and establish regular lines of communication with sites to manage ongoing project expectations and issues
Person
The individual will need to be a Science graduate with a major in Pharmacy, Biological / Life Sciences or Nursing from a recognized tertiary institution. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the drug development process, clinical trial monitoring procedures, GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines and medical terminology. He/She must have effective time management, good ability to manage competing priorities and be team player as well as able to work independently. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are also a must. He/She is able to travel when required.
For the senior position, the candidate must have at least 3 years clinical monitoring experience, preferably with some experience in leading clinical teams in the region.
